Bei Bei is a world-class Guzheng soloist. Her solo performance repertoire consists of traditional and contemporary music as well as original compositions. She has also worked with various music ensembles and symphony orchestras such as the Pacific Symphony and UC Irvine Symphony.

Bei Bei and Jon Monter Fusion Duo
Bei Bei has been working with guitarist Jon Monter since 2015. The duo performs original music as well as American and Chinese Pop / Rock song covers.
Bei Bei and Ensemble (A Fusion Band)
Bio: Bei Bei and ensemble is a fusion band featuring Chinese Guzheng virtuoso performer and composer Bei Bei. The current band members are guitarist Jon Monter, bass player Khris Kempis and drummer Sam Halterman. The group performs original music from Bei Bei and Shawn Lee’s collaborative albums “Into The Wind” (2010) and “Year of The Funky” (2017) as well as cover songs from various Pop, R&B, and Rock artists. They have performed though out Los Angeles area at venues such as The Grove, South Coast Plaza and The USC Pacific Asian Museum. They have also toured to Las Vegas, San Francisco, China, Hong Kong and India. Bei Bei and ensemble’s sounds are described by their audiences as “Astonishing! It both hovers and dances.” “crossing musical boundaries” “hypnotic, global and timeless music.

She is the leader of the Vivid China Ensemble, a traditional Chinese music ensemble that consists of instruments such as the Guzheng, Erhu, Yangqin, and Pipa. She has collobrated with other musicians such as Pipa virtuoso Celia Liu, Soprano Celine Chen and pianist Vera Mackay.
She is the director/leader of the Lotus Bud Guzheng Ensemble.
